Route description: Start the tour at the tourism information Flachau – pass the Dorfcafé – then turn left toward the minigolf course – follow the signed bike path to Altenmarkt – enter the center of Altenmarkt – at the intersection in the town center, turn into the church square (cobblestones) – continue straight ahead for 300 meters; at the second intersection just before the secondary school, turn right into Römerstraße – at km 10.9 at the fork, turn right and after about 50 m turn left over a small bridge toward Pension Grafengut – at km 12.2 enter the main road – turn right toward Obertauern and after about 100 meters turn right again into Perneggstraße – steadily rising gravel road through wooded area – at km 13.3 continue straight – at the fork at km 15.5 continue straight – at the lift station turn right downhill – at Sonnalm at km 16.7 turn left toward Altenmarkt – at km 18.4 turn left – at km 18.7 turn left again toward Hochnössler – long ascent toward Steinwand – at km 21.1 turn right – at km 24.2 reach the highest point of the tour (1,471 metres above sea level) – rapid descent toward the valley floor – junction with Zauchenseestraße – turn right toward Altenmarkt – use the old Zauschensee path parallel to the paved road – at km 30.5 turn left onto Kohlgrabenweg toward Sattelbauer (Attention: turn left) – steady, even ascent to Sattelbauer – from Sattelbauer descent to Flachau to the tour starting point
