Plan multi-day cycling tours

Start with one route
Start by mapping your full journey as a single route using a routing profile that suits your riding style. The planner will automatically split it into stages in the next step. Prefer to go step by step? Just create your first stage and add more as you go.

Split your route into stages
Next, divide your route into daily stages with just a few clicks. Choose your preferred daily distance and let the planner do the rest. You can also decide how elevation should be factored in, pick from three options to match your fitness level and tour goals.

Fine-tune each stage
Adjust the end point of any stage, for example to match an accommodation or a preferred stop. The following stage will automatically shift to keep the flow of your tour intact. This way, you stay flexible while making the route work for your plans.

Once your tour is planned, you’re ready to ride. Use the Bikemap app to navigate each stage with turn-by-turn voice instructions, offline maps, and real-time route tracking. Whether you’re on roads, trails, or bike paths, Bikemap keeps you on course.

Easily send your planned stages to your Garmin or Wahoo device for on-the-go navigation on your bike computer. You can also create a Bikemap tour from your tracks recorded with Garmin or Wahoo.

The full planner is available on web. Once saved, your tour and stages automatically sync to the Bikemap app, where you can view, navigate, and edit them on the go.
Yes, each stage of your tour can be exported as a GPX or KML file. This lets you use your route with GPS bike computers, third-party apps, or mapping tools. If you connect Bikemap to Garmin or Wahoo the export will be handled automatically.
When splitting your route into stages, you can choose between three elevation settings: Gentle, Moderate, and Sportive. These options control how much influence ascent and descent have on stage lengths.
For example, if you select Gentle, the planner will create shorter stages in hilly sections to avoid overloading a single day with too much climbing. Sportive allows for longer, more challenging stages with more ascent.
Yes, your tour stays fully editable. You can adjust stage endpoints, add or remove waypoints, and update routing profiles at any time. Changes are automatically synced to your account.
Currently, you can print each stage individually. This allows you to include detailed zoomed-in views and highlight important segments for each day of your ride.
