A beautiful ride with a bit of everything: cruising through a valley floor, a stiff climb - ramps of 12-15%, and rolling terrain through the mountains.  Bring lots of water as there isn't anyplace to refill at the halfway point (other than the lake!)  Climbing total is approx 5800'

First 5 km are the hardest with ramps to 12%, avg grade of 7%.  Washrooms and water at the top.  Great vistas at the top

a large portion of this route is on an old railway bed line which has been converted to public trail and is paved.
