Excursión ciclista de un día de Hsinchu a Fengyuan

Hop on your bike for a Taiwan adventure, starting from Hsinchu — a buzzing city known for its tech hub and tasty rice noodles — and cruising south to Fengyuan, a charming district of Taichung famed for its lively night market and cakes. The route stretches a little over 111 km, so it’s perfect for a day trip if you’re up for some solid pedaling!

You’ll enjoy rolling through a mix of quiet country roads and smooth cycleways (over half your ride is pretty relaxing and low-traffic). There’s about 750 meters of climbing along the way, enough to keep things interesting without turning your legs to jelly. Coffee breaks are a must with those gentle ascents and sweeping views.

Most of the ride is on standard road surfaces (hello, smooth wheels!), winding past fields, villages, and a few hilltop panoramas—it’s a classic slice of Taiwan’s varied landscape.
