This ride takes you from the historic town of Speyer to the vibrant university city of Heidelberg—two gems nestled along the Rhine. Starting in Speyer, famous for its UNESCO-listed Imperial Cathedral, you’ll head mostly along quiet tracks and scenic paths that meander through charming countryside and small towns.

The route covers about 28 km with barely any climbing, so it’s super approachable for all levels. Most of your journey rolls over smooth asphalt or paving stones, with just a tiny stretch of gravel to give your ride a bit of adventure, but nothing too rough for a road bike.
