This roughly 14 km route takes you from the busy neighborhoods of Angyalföld or Újlipótváros, down along mostly dedicated cycleways—so you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy the ride without dodging too many cars.

The path is mostly paved, with lots of smooth asphalt and a stretch or two of paving stones to keep it interesting. You’ll get a gentle workout with around 138 meters of up and down—not too tough, but enough to feel alive. As you approach Újbuda, you’ll notice the city’s atmosphere changing; the Buda side is known for its cozy cafés, student life, and green parks.
