Porto (Ribeira) - São Jacinto

This route starts in Ribeira, Porto, on the lower deck of  Ponte D. Luís.

Cross the bridge to Gaia, follow the river onto the ocean and keep following the ocean front using the bike paths until Espinho.

When approaching Espinho, choose between the wooden pass or the nearest road to gain access to the main beach, by the casino.

Exiting Espinho can be tricky but it's relatively quick. Keep east of the train tracks until the golf range, at which point you cross to the west of the track and pedal on.

Ride by the train tracks until you reach the Esmoriz / Cortegaça area, and find the bike path that crosses the woods. This will take you to Furadouro (Ovar) and connect you to the N327 with its adjacent bike path.

From there you'll pass Torreira and come to an end at São Jacinto, at which point you'll take a ferry to the Aveiro port, and you're just a stone's throw away from the city.
