This cycling route takes you from the lively city of Graz, Austria, all the way down to Maribor, Slovenia’s wine capital. Starting in Graz, you can grab a strong coffee in the historic old town before rolling south through the scenic hills of Styria. The route covers about 78.5 km and is mostly on quiet roads and dedicated cycleways, so you can enjoy peaceful countryside vibes for the better part of your ride.

There’s a bit of a climb early on (about 592 m ascent in total), but you'll be rewarded with sweeping views and plenty of smooth, paved surfaces—no gravel to slow you down. After crossing into Slovenia, you’ll make a mellow descent toward Maribor, which sits on the banks of the Drava River surrounded by vineyards.
