Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Lindau à Immenstadt im Allgäu

This scenic ride takes you from the charming island town of Lindau, perched on the eastern edge of Lake Constance, into the heart of the Allgäu Alps at Immenstadt im Allgäu. Starting in Lindau, known for its picturesque harbor and historic old town, you’ll wind your way along mostly quiet roads and smooth asphalt paths—perfect for soaking in those lakeside and alpine views.

As you pedal inland, be prepared for a bit of a climb: you’ll ascend over 1000 meters on your way to Immenstadt, so make sure you’re ready for a workout (and maybe reward yourself with an Apfelstrudel at the end!). The route is almost entirely paved, with just a sprinkle of cobblestones and unpaved sections to keep things interesting.
