Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Coblence à Bingen-Am-Rhein

Get ready for one of the most beautiful rides along the Rhine! Setting off from Koblenz—a city famous for its dramatic riverside setting at the Deutsches Eck, where the Rhine and Moselle meet—you’ll wind your way south to Bingen am Rhein, covering nearly 71 km. Most of the route is on paved, mostly asphalt paths and quiet roads, making it perfect for a relaxed, scenic ride.

You’ll pedal past castles, vineyards, and steep valley walls in one of Germany’s most picturesque regions, the UNESCO-listed Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Expect a few good climbs (the route packs in over 1,100 meters of ascent!), but the vistas from higher up over the river and charming villages are more than worth it.

Bingen at the end is a delight—once home to Hildegard of Bingen, with riverside cafes and a lively old town. Grab an ice cream and enjoy the Rhine views—you earned it!
