Get ready for a fun ride from vibrant downtown Edmonton to the relaxed vibes of Sherwood Park! This roughly 25.5 km journey gives you a nice mix of cityscape and greenery. Starting in Edmonton’s core, with its lively arts scene and scenic river valley, you’ll head east—mostly on paved surfaces—including plenty of dedicated cycleways and peaceful back roads.

There’s a gentle climb out of town (expect about 268 meters going up), but nothing an enthusiastic cyclist can’t handle! Much of the route is traffic-light, and you’ll spend almost half your ride on proper bike paths, cruising past parks and pockets of forest.
