Shortly after getting onto Washington Center Rd, which was pretty busy, the traffic petered out and the ride on it was OK, despite the lack of any road shoulder.
Most of the rest of the ride was excellent very low-traffic road with some good scenery.

Warsaw IN to Plymouth IN

This was a great ride on mostly zero traffic roads. Scenery OK, but nothing great.
Two short sections were unpaved with some loose gravel, but weren't too bad. They did cause pretty slow going, though, since they were not all hard packed.

Plymouth OH to Valparaiso OH

This was on all very low-traffic roads with two exceptions.
First, we were on US Rt 30 for about 4 miles. As there's a an excellent wide shoulder, the only issue was the traffic noise.
Second, the last part of our ride on State Rt 49 should be avoided. It started off for a short while with no shoulder (we rode on the dirt at the side of the road). Then there was excellent shoulder, but it was like riding on an interstate highway. Not something to be repeated.
