From there, the 30 km route to Yekaterinburg weaves through mostly quiet roads and access roads, with a fair mix of surfaces—expect stretches of smooth asphalt, some gravel, and sections where the path may get a little rugged.

You'll enjoy gentle climbs and descents, with just under 200 meters of ascent and descent along the way. The route is mostly away from busy highways, but keep your eyes open as you enter Yekaterinburg, a vibrant city that’s the administrative and cultural hub of the region, and famously straddles the border of Europe and Asia.
