Gita in bici di un giorno da Elsinore a Ängelholm

Ready for a classic two-country ride? You’ll start off in the historic Danish city of Elsinore (Helsingør)—famous as the home of Kronborg Castle, aka “Hamlet’s Castle”—with its pretty old town and waterfront views across the Øresund strait. From here, you’ll head south, cross over to Sweden (most likely using the Helsingør-Helsingborg ferry, bikes welcome!), and continue your journey along country paths and quiet roads through the Swedish countryside.

The ride covers almost 40 km with just under 100 meters of climbing, making it a fairly relaxed spin. You’ll cruise through a mix of village roads, forest lanes, and peaceful farm tracks before rolling into Ängelholm, a charming small city with wide beaches and plenty of cozy cafés to refuel in. The surfaces are a mix—mostly paved but with some unpaved sections—so a hybrid or gravel bike is perfect. All in all, this is a great cross-border adventure with lots of fresh air, great views, and Scandinavian small-town charm at both ends!
