This ride takes you from the heart of Cardiff to the leafy suburb of Radyr—perfect for a relaxed cycle! You’ll begin in Cardiff, famous for its lively waterfront and historic castle, then head northwest along mostly paved, easygoing routes (with plenty of smooth asphalt). Most of the ride sticks to cycleways and quiet roads, so it’s a stress-free journey, whether you’re a daily commuter or out for a weekend spin.

The route climbs gently—just under 60 meters of ascent—so expect a couple of steady but manageable uphills. Along the way, wave to the River Taff (and maybe pause for a coffee near Bute Park).
