This scenic cycling route takes you from the beachy vibes of Zandvoort to the vibrant city of Amsterdam—a classic Dutch ride! You’ll start with sea air and sandy dunes in Zandvoort, famous for its seaside resorts and the historic Zandvoort Circuit racing track.

Pedaling inland, you glide mostly along smooth, dedicated cycle paths (over 90% of the way), so you can relax and enjoy the flat Dutch landscape. With less than 55 meters of ascent, the route is easy-going, perfect for most riders. Along the way, soak in serene parks, quiet roads, and glimpses of charming villages.

After around 28 km (a little over an hour and a half at a leisurely pace), you’ll roll into Amsterdam—world-renowned for its rich history, canals, and bike-friendly streets. Park your bike and grab a coffee or explore the city’s museums.
