Gita in bici di un giorno da Zingst a Stralsund

This scenic ride kicks off in the charming seaside town of Zingst, known for its long sandy beaches and the Bodden landscape—perfect for a relaxed start. You’ll cruise south-west through a good mix of smooth asphalt and the occasional old paving stone, mostly on quiet routes and bike paths. Expect lovely coastal views and plenty of Baltic Sea breeze as you pass through peaceful fishing villages and stretches of open countryside.

The route is mostly flat, with gentle elevation—nothing too tough—so you can just enjoy the scenery and maybe spot some cranes or wild geese if you’re lucky. Stralsund makes a wonderful finish: a Hanseatic city loaded with UNESCO World Heritage charm, red-brick Gothic architecture, and the famous Ozeaneum for some post-ride exploring.

At just over 120 kilometers, it’s a full day out, but with so much beauty between Zingst’s natural coastline and Stralsund’s historic skyline, it’s a route you won’t want to rush!
