Gita in bici di un giorno da Wetzlar a Weilburg

This scenic route takes you from the charming town of Wetzlar, famous for its half-timbered old town and the birthplace of the Leica camera, to the picturesque Weilburg, known for its stunning castle perched above the Lahn River. The ride is roughly 26 km and takes you through the rolling hills and lush forests of Hesse, so expect a couple of good climbs (about 338 meters ascent), but also some rewarding descents.

Most of the ride is on paved surfaces, mixed with a bit of gravel, so a road or hybrid bike is perfect. You’ll mostly follow quiet tracks and peaceful rural roads, giving you ample opportunities to enjoy the German countryside without much traffic.
