This scenic cycling route takes you from the charming seaside of Seebad Heringsdorf to the laid-back resort town of Ostseebad Zinnowitz, both famous gems on the Island of Usedom. Heringsdorf is known for its beautiful, historic pier—the longest in Germany—and its elegant villas from the imperial era, making for a picture-perfect start.

The ride itself covers just under 28 km, mostly on smooth asphalt paths meandering through woods and along coastal stretches, with just a bit of gentle up-and-down. The path stays mostly on dedicated cycle paths or quiet roads, so it’s peaceful and easy to enjoy the Baltic Sea breeze. You'll pass enchanting forests, glimpse the shimmering sea, and roll through a few quaint villages along the way, so be sure to stop for some fresh Fischbrötchen.

Arriving in Zinnowitz, you’ll find sandy beaches, lively boardwalks, and the quirky Tauchgondel—a floating “dive gondola” that lets you experience the Baltic from below. It’s a classic Usedom ride: relaxing, full of fresh air, and dotted with scenic stops. Don’t forget your camera!
