It’s a gentle Allgäu ride: a few short rises, then a steady net descent toward the Alpsee valley. After skirting past meadows and cowbells, you’ll pick up the lakeside cycle path by the Großer Alpsee for an easy, scenic cruise along the water.

At roughly 18 km with about 120 m of climbing, it’s smooth and relaxed—great views of the Allgäu Alps, and almost entirely on asphalt. Coffee or a quick dip stop at Bühl by the lake is worth it if the weather’s kind.

Roll into Immenstadt im Allgäu, the oldest town in the Oberallgäu, with a compact historic center and access to the Alpsee. If you’ve got time, Alpsee Bergwelt (home to a long alpine coaster) sits nearby for a playful detour. Overall: calm roads, big scenery, and a satisfying lakeside finish.
