You’ll roll out from Lübeck, the medieval Hanseatic city famous for its gorgeous brick Gothic architecture and irresistible marzipan. The first kilometers trace rivers, sleepy villages, and green fields. Most of the ride is on paved and quiet roads, with the occasional stretch of gravel or paving stones adding a touch of variety (and adventure!).

As you push north, you’ll feel the salty air start to change—the Baltic coast is getting close! Crossing over to Fehmarn, the third largest island in Germany, is a real highlight. Known for its beaches and seabird reserves, Fehmarn is a top spot for unwinding after a long ride.
