Roll out from the rural village of Labenz and glide west through open fields and hedgerows on mostly smooth tarmac. The profile is gently rolling—nothing steep—so it’s an easy, steady spin. About 84% of the route is paved and a big chunk follows quiet roads and paths, with only brief bits on busier sections. There’s a short stretch of gravel, but any bike with normal tires will be fine.

You’ll pass through classic Schleswig-Holstein countryside and small villages; if you fancy a detour, swing by Tremsbüttel to glimpse its photogenic castle. Keep an eye out for farm tracks crossing the way and a couple of road crossings near the A21 corridor.
