Gita in bici di un giorno da Bad Schandau a Děčín

This scenic cycling route takes you from the spa town of Bad Schandau in Germany to the vibrant Czech city of Děčín, covering just over 21.5 km along mostly smooth, paved surfaces. You’ll roll out from Bad Schandau, a charming town famous for its proximity to Saxon Switzerland National Park and relaxing riverside ambiance along the Elbe. The ride follows the Elbe River for much of the way, passing through lush valleys and picturesque villages—perfect for plenty of photo stops.

Most of the route is on cycleways and quiet roads, so you’ll have room to relax and soak up the views. There’s a little bit of climb (about 250 meters of ascent), but nothing too daunting, and you’ll be rewarded with some gentle descents as you approach Děčín.
