Gita in bici di un giorno da Dobbiaco a Lienz

Start your journey in Toblach (Dobbiaco), a charming South Tyrolean town nestled in the Dolomites, famous for its stunning mountain views and as a gateway to cycling adventures. From here, the route heads east, mostly on smooth, dedicated cycleways—perfect for a relaxed, scenic ride.

You’ll follow the Drau river valley, gradually climbing for a bit (total ascent is around 460 meters) before enjoying a rewarding descent of over 1000 meters. The route is around 50 km and almost entirely paved, so road bikes are absolutely welcome. Highlights include postcard-worthy meadows and occasional glimpses of the soaring Alps.
