Gita in bici di un giorno da Mahilëŭ a Veyno

This relaxing 20 km ride takes you from Mogilev, one of Belarus’s oldest cities with its scenic Dnieper River views and historic architecture, down to the small village of Veyno. Rolling out from Mogilev, you’ll cruise mostly on quiet rural roads, with just enough bumpy track and ground sections to add a bit of adventure—so a hybrid or gravel bike is a good pick!

The landscape’s gentle ups and downs (less than 90 meters ascent and descent) let you soak in the countryside without working too hard. Only about a fifth of your route is proper asphalt, and almost 70% of the surface isn’t precisely mapped—so expect a mix, and a rustic feel for most of the way.

You’ll pass through peaceful farmland, dotted with occasional villages, before arriving at Veyno, a tiny settlement wrapped in tranquil fields. It’s a lovely way to get a taste of authentic rural Belarus between two very different communities—the bustling city and the calm countryside. Don’t forget to bring water and maybe stop for a sunset on the way!
