This ride starts off at Brixton Hill, a bustling spot well known for its vibrant music history and one of London’s most diverse communities. From here, you’ll wind your way northwest through mostly quiet roads (perfect for a relaxed ride) with very little climbing—just over 3 meters, and most of the way is downhill towards Battersea. The surface is almost entirely smooth asphalt and pavement, so it’s an easy spin whether you're on a road bike or a hybrid.

As you approach Battersea, you’ll pass through some leafy neighborhoods and might even catch glimpses of Battersea Park or the iconic Battersea Power Station in the distance. The route keeps you away from heavy traffic for the most part, though there are a few busier stretches—just enough to remind you you’re in the heart of London. All told, this is a great short city ride, whether you’re heading for a riverside stroll, a coffee near the park, or just exploring a new part of town!
