Canaan CT to Lenox MA

These sections of US Highway 7 generally had too much traffic. There was, though, pretty good road shoulder for much of it. When we turned off onto 7A, the relative silence was wonderful.

Both Stockbridge and Lenox were nice small towns.

Our decision to use US Highway 7 was due to the terrible weather forecast. Had good weather been forecasted, we would have used the USBRS suggested route, which presumably would have put us on much nicer roads.
