Water Work Ride! CLONED FROM ROUTE 906867

I went out with my mate for a random ride up the mountain and we managed to find our way back home after 4 hours... or more. So after looking on GoogleEarth where we really were, I decided to create this route. The views are great and we had a lot of fun. There are a few things to consider if you are planning to do this ride.

The beginning and end of the route are not joined together, but the end does get you back to the track you were on, so you can find your way back from there. (I live where the route starts, hence the start!) The other option is to drive the first length until you find the dirt track, park your car there, and then go up.

Take into account the time of year. We rode it on the 13th of March and there was still plenty of snow, and in some cases we had to drag our bikes, walking in deep snow! Especially after the last village.

You will find your way pretty easily until the last village, but a while after that the track starts to disappear, so follow your senses, have a closer look at GoogleEarth and keep going downhill until you hit the track again.

There is a spring of water after the last village, but it could be dry by the end of summer, so take plenty of water, enjoy the ride, be safe, and have fun!
