(Map 6) Kogarah to West Kogarah

This route provides options to cross the railway line at Kogarah. The connections aren't perfect and require caution.

Guinea, Warialda and Verdun Streets provide access to Bexley Bike Bus (Map 1). For a proposed route see (Map 6D).

This route could benefit from:

• Ramping to convert culdesacs on Robertson and Taylor Streets into modal filters (Bayside Council).
• Separated cycling lanes on Railway Parade/ Montgomery Streets (Georges River Council).
• 30km/h speed limit on areas of Paine and Railway Streets with high pedestrian utilisation.

Although Station Street is not connected on this map it is a very safe street to ride down because of the 40km/h speed limit and busy pedestrian crossing.
