ECR - Chennai to Pondy

17 to 20 September 2015.

Day 1 - Chennai to Mahabalipuram - Very hot and Humid. Exposed to sun for complete strech. Heat and traffic make the ride even more difficult. Day 2 - Mahabalipuram to Auroville - Flat road with shade for most part of the strech. Isolated beaches towards one side and salt fileds towards the other. Can cover long distances without even being aware of it. Very nice and pleasent day. Day 3 - Auroville to Puducherry - Deviation form ECR to Auroville is mostly uphill but not too tiring. The villages and the muddy cycling paths inside Aeroville community makes the day exiting. Day 4 - Puducherry - In and around Pondy, very nice and flat roads. Nice to see so many people using cycle as their main means of commute.
