Orbetello to Capalbio: the Argentario Sea cycling to inland

This tour will guide you pedalling along one of the most beautiful coastlines in Tuscany: that of the Argentario promontory, a hill rising in the middle of the sea surrounded by bays and connected to the coast by tiny juts of land, the most famous of which is certainly the Feniglia reserve, a few hundred metres wide with kilometres of pine forest and wild beaches. Following this coastline, you can stop of for a break in the sea-side town of Orbetello to then pedal on towards Capalbio, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, but not before admiring archaeological areas, small natural reserves and the unusual art of the Giardino dei Tarocchi.
