Homeward Bound

Worth checking the weather, and particularly the wind direction before setting off. It's a long ride but a great one through a variety of terrain. The A33 can be treacherous in parts and the Basingstoke ring-road requires a bit of nerve. But, from Basingstoke it's a great ride. The roads are fairly quiet as most non-local-traffic is on the A303. There are only a couple of steep hills, but the undulating terrain can be quite testing in place. The wind is the main obstacle if it's blowing in an unfavourable directions.
