Scheibbs na rowerze

Kurze, aber anspruchsvolle Rennrad-Runde, Zeitaufwand ca. 2 Stunden. Die Staßen sind fast durchgehend verkehrsarm.

First, 168km from Sheibbs to Graz through mountains. I like it that the first climb (from 300m above sea level to 1100m) is early, so I won't be tired and should do that swiftly. Then there will be another mountain (1200m), and a long ride down to Graz (again, 300m a.s.l.).  Graz is supposed to have a lovely old town, as it was an important city for both Austrians and Slovenes in Austro-Hungarian times. Also, there's an Arnold Schwarzenneger musem nearby in Thal (the birthplace of Arnie) but I'm not sure if I have time to visit it. Anyway, I stay in Graz for the night The next day I'm going to Maribor (the birthplace of Triss Merigold, obviously). It's only 70km so if I don't like it I may decide to ride for Celje the same day.  And the next day Ljubljana. I'll spend there one or two days, depending on how much time will take me to get there, and then I have a bus home.

Scheibbs - Lunz am See - Palfau - Hieflau - Geäuse -  ev Admont Buchauer Sattel (Weng im Gesäuse) - Ennstal - Waidhofen - Gresten - Scheibbs retour.
