Zuerst geht es hinauf in den Parco Nazionale. Auf halben Weg in Richtung Monte Sant Angelo geht es rechts in Richtung Carpino. Achtung, dieser Weg war 2007 noch in einem etwas schlechteren Zustand. Demnächst werde ich die Tour nochmal fahren und evtl. aktualisieren.
Von Carpino dann weiter nach Rodi Garganico und dann an der Küste über Peschici zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
Die ersten 25 km Anstieg, dann geht es abwärts. Aber immer wieder unterbrochen mit kleinen Anstiegen.
Empfehlung. Bis Carpino ist es recht einsam. Also genügend Wasser, Verpflegung und Schläuche (evtl. auch einen Mantel) mitnehmen. Dies gilt im übrigen für fast alle von mir eingestellten Fahrten im Gargano.
