Northampton Cycling Club's Tour of the Hilltowns route for the non-pro fields.
It's tough, with a big climb in the middle and a big climb toward the end. My biggest complaint is the overuse of rolling enclosure on boring, noisy, sun-parched, wide open, no-handling-ability-required state highways; really forces the selection to happen on the climbs.
I mean, why not save a bunch of time and contest the event in the Notchview parking lot with a scale, SRM and turbo trainer, right?
Seriously, though—a good, tough race. Highly recommended mid-season woodchipper.
