Since bikemap.net wouldn't allow mapping on the Gateway Trail, there are two routes to get you from SE Minneapolis to near Prairie Farm, Wisconsin. There are numerous sources of existing maps for the Gateway.
Also of note, we chose to ride through Glenwood City near the end of the ride to find a decent bite to eat. There really isn't much for food out this way.
If I were riding this again, I would've ridden more along 130th than on County Road E, as 130th had less traffic.

Get on the Gateway Trail and follow the trail through Maplewood into St. Paul. Continue to the end/start of the Trail at Cayuga Street. Continue straight ahead on L'Orient St. It will curve around to become Acker St. Follow Acker St. to Jackson and turn left. Follow Jackson into downtown St. Paul. Turn right on 4th Street over to Robert Street. Turn left on to Robert Street and continue across the Mississippi River to your destination.
