From Barracks Lane Trailhead stay on the lower contour trail.  At the 2nd gate stay left.  The trail comes out on a 2-track after 4miles.  <br /><br />From here you can either ride up the 2-track looking for a cairn just after passing through a fence gate.<br /><br />OR you can go down the 2-track for 1/2 mile, then catching the single track on the right.  This single track climbs through the sage then follows Baker Creek eventually turning to the west and hitting the previously mentioned 2-track.  Follow the 2-track up for another 1/4mile thru the gate.<br /><br />From here follow the single track contouring generally northwest and looking for cairns at the tricky spots. <br /><br />Once you get to the stocktank that is Rippey Spring there are many options.  This track descends along Rippey Creek and returns on the contour trail back to Barrack Trailhead.
