Jednodniowa wycieczka rowerowa z Yuen Long Kau Hui do Sha Tin

This is a fantastic ride starting from the historic market area of Yuen Long Kau Hui, a community known for its blend of old villages and modern living. The route covers almost 39 km, snaking through beautiful New Territories countryside and into the bustling heart of Shatin.

The ride offers a mix of surfaces and scenery: you’ll roll along cycleways, glide through quiet roads, and get a taste of local life on some paths and busier stretches. There’s a healthy amount of climbing—nearly 800 meters up—so expect a workout, especially as the route rises close to 400 meters at its highest point.

Take in the rural views and maybe stop for some snacks at one of the new town shops before dropping into Shatin. Shatin itself is famous for the riverside promenade and public art, making it the perfect place to end your adventure and unwind by the Shing Mun River.
