This cycling route takes you from the vibrant city of Granada down to the smaller town of Armilla, covering just over 16 km. You’ll have a mix of mostly paved and asphalt surfaces, making it pretty comfy for your wheels, with most of the way being on dedicated cycleways and quiet roads—so traffic shouldn’t be too much of a worry.

Leaving Granada, you’ll cruise past glimpses of the iconic Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada in the distance (Granada is famous for both its Moorish history and tapas culture). There’s a gentle overall descent as you make your way south, so it’s not too taxing—just a bit of rolling up and down.

Armilla itself is known for its markets and the annual Armilla Fair, and it’s a nice place to finish, especially if you fancy a quick café stop before heading back. All in all, it’s a relaxing ride—perfect for a sunny afternoon!
