The journey has a bit of everything: you’ll ride a mix of paved roads, quiet lochside tracks, and long stretches of unpaved or gravel surfaces—so a gravel or sturdy touring bike is ideal.

You'll trace parts of the Great Glen, following the famous Caledonian Canal and passing iconic sights like Loch Ness (keep an eye out for Nessie!).
