This scenic cycling route takes you from lakeside Rorschach to the lively border town of Kreuzlingen, hugging the southern shore of Lake Constance for much of the way. You’ll cover just under 38 km of mostly flat, super-paved paths and quiet roads – so it’s ideal for pretty much any bike.

Start your ride in Rorschach, a picturesque Swiss lakeport that’s famous for its historic old town and beautiful lake promenade. As you pedal west, soak up wideopen views over Lake Constance, with the Alps off on the horizon. The route is incredibly bike-friendly, with over 90% on smooth asphalt and lots of dedicated cycle paths, so you can really unwind and enjoy the scenery.

You’ll roll through pretty lakeshore villages and a patchwork of gentle farmland – don’t be surprised if you spot the odd vineyard or castle along the way! With only a little over 130 meters of climbing, this is an easy day out.
