Jednodniowa wycieczka rowerowa z Umhausen do Sölden

This ride takes you from the picturesque village of Umhausen, nestled in the Ötztal Valley, down to the alpine hotspot of Sölden. You’ll cover just under 31 kilometers, and while that might not sound epic, the route packs in over 1,000 meters of climbing—so expect your legs to feel it!

The journey starts out winding through quiet roads and charming Tyrolean scenery. Most of the ride is paved or good-quality asphalt, but there are some sections with gravel and unpaved tracks that will keep things interesting, so wider tires are a plus. As you climb, you’ll be rewarded with amazing valley and mountain views, especially as you get above 1,600 meters in elevation.

Once you reach Sölden, you’ll find yourself in the heart of one of Austria’s most famous ski and cycling resorts, renowned for its year-round outdoor adventures. The town is a favorite for both road cyclists and mountain bikers, thanks to its trail networks and the annual Ötztaler Radmarathon.
