Starting in the charming village of Pfunds, nestled in the Inn valley and known for its historic houses and Roman bridge, you’ll quickly find yourself heading uphill—there’s no sugarcoating this one, the route packs in over 1,100 meters of ascent in just over 24 km!

Most of your ride takes you along paved or asphalt roads, though be aware that some sections (about 8%) are gravel, so a sturdy bike and a spirit of adventure will help. The first part follows the main road, which can get busy, but the sweeping views and refreshing mountain air more than make up for it.

Soon enough you’ll reach Nauders, a picturesque mountain village near the Austrian-Italian border, at almost 1,500 meters elevation!
