Bikepacking z Graz do Klagenfurt

Ready for an epic day ride? This route takes you from the lively city of Graz, the capital of Styria and Austria’s second largest city, to Klagenfurt, the scenic lakeside capital of Carinthia.

You'll be covering just over 207 km, with some pretty decent climbing (over 3,300 meters ascent), so be prepared for a good workout and ever-changing views. The ride mixes lots of quiet country roads and dedicated cycleways, with only a brief encounter with busy roads. Most of the surface is smooth asphalt or pavement, but pack for a bit of adventure—there’s a short spell of gravel that keeps things interesting.

Leaving behind Graz’s historic charm and vibrant café culture, you’ll cross rolling hills, forests, and picturesque valleys dotted with sleepy villages. The views open up as you reach higher elevations—breathe in that clean mountain air! Klagenfurt welcomes you at the end with its Italianate old town and the sparkling Wörthersee.
