Tongeren is famous for its rich Roman heritage and its lively Sunday antique market, so consider a quick stroll before you head out.

The route rolls gently through the lush landscapes of Limburg province, making for a relaxed ride with just enough ascent to keep things interesting. Expect to pass farmland, small villages, and patches of forest. With plenty of asphalt and concrete under your wheels (and hardly any gravel to slow you down), the ride feels pleasantly smooth.
