This short ride takes you from Drogenbos to Linkebeek—two charming villages just outside Brussels. Kicking off in Drogenbos, known for its mix of green spaces and quirky modern art venues, you’ll weave your way south through mostly quiet roads (nice and peaceful!), with a bit of gentle climbing to keep things interesting.

About half the route’s surface is unknown, but you can count on a fair amount of paved and asphalt sections—perfect for either your road bike or a sturdy hybrid. Watch for occasional gravel and even some cobbled or stone stretches, especially closer to Linkebeek. The scenery is mostly suburban turning to semi-rural, with the odd woodland view.

You'll enjoy around 95 meters of ascent in total, so expect some hilly bits (but nothing extreme). As you roll into Linkebeek—a village famous for its picturesque valleys and walking trails—you’ll definitely have earned a coffee break.
