Here’s a relaxed cycling route that starts in Wiesloch and takes you north to the iconic city of Heidelberg.

The journey is about 17.7 kilometers—perfect for a gentle afternoon ride. The terrain is mostly flat, with only about 70 meters of climbing, so it’s beginner-friendly. Most of the way you'll roll on smooth asphalt and paved paths, cruising along quiet roads and scenic paths through the beautiful Rhine-Neckar region. There are no busy roads to worry about, so you can really enjoy the countryside vibe.

Wiesloch is a cozy town known for its historic pharmacy, often called “the world’s first filling station,” where Bertha Benz stopped to refuel during her famous drive in 1888. Your destination, Heidelberg, is famous for its romantic old town, riverside setting, and the incredible castle overlooking the Neckar River.
