The route to Malchow rolls north through classic Mecklenburg countryside: think sweeping fields, quiet roads, and glimmers of lakes peeking through the trees. Most of your trip is on smooth, paved surfaces, so you can really enjoy spinning the pedals and soaking in the scenery. There are a couple of gentle climbs (nothing too dramatic—topping out just under 100 meters), and you’ll mostly be sharing peaceful roads and well-maintained cycle paths with the occasional local car or another cyclist.

Ending at Malchow, you’ll arrive in a historic “island town” with a quaint little swing bridge and a lively marina. The old abbey and lakeside promenade make for a perfect post-ride stroll.
