Leave the sea breeze behind and head southeast on smooth, mostly paved paths—this is an easy, about-13 km spin with gentle ups and downs and a max elevation around 30 m. You’ll cruise on separated paths and quiet lanes through fields and patches of woodland; keep an ear out for the whistle of the Molli narrow‑gauge steam railway that links these towns and often runs nearby.

Bad Doberan greets you with café-lined streets and the stunning Doberaner Münster, a masterpiece of North German Brick Gothic. The Molli even trundles right through town, making for a unique arrival vibe. Surfaces are almost entirely paved (asphalt with some paving stones), so skinny tires are fine. Fancy a bonus view? A short detour toward Heiligendamm adds Baltic panoramas before turning inland to Doberan.
