This ride starts right in the heart of Kassel, known for its impressive Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, UNESCO-listed and famous for its hillside park, impressive water features, and that giant Hercules monument everyone talks about. From there, you’ll pedal mostly on smooth cycleways (about 68% of the route!) heading north towards Fuldatal—a quiet, green escape along the River Fulda.

Most of your journey rolls along paved or asphalt paths (over 85%), so it’s a relaxed ride with just a touch of gravel and forest ground to keep it interesting. Expect some gentle hills; you’ll climb about 318 meters along the way, but don't worry—there's plenty of descent to enjoy too.

Fuldatal, at the Northern edge of Kassel, is a charming riverside community perfect for a coffee break or some riverside relaxation. All in all, it’s a great mix of city sights and nature, making for a satisfying 25 km exploration on two wheels.
